Keeping up with all the needs
From what you've told us, you feel comfortable with your role as a caregiver. It can be gratifying to offer your time and attention to someone who needs you. Your loved one is so lucky to have you!
Still, it's not easy to give so much of yourself. And sometimes the needs can feel overwhelming—or even impossible—to meet.
Know that depression is common among caregivers, and some of your responses suggest you may be at risk. It's easy to ignore your own issues when you're focused on a loved one. Please don't. Taking care of yourself is good for you and those who need you.
